Double Ground Hardwood Bark Mulch

When trees are cut back or removed, there are several ways to recycle the stumps and branches. Many times, the entire tree is sent through a grinder to create pulp or shredded mulch, but for most hardwood trees, the bark is stripped off before the tree enters the shredder. With some of the best natural color and nutrients found in hardwood bark, Carter Recycling uses the bark to produce a rich, premium recycled mulch.

Where it comes from

This mulch originates from stripped hardwood bark. Loads of bark enter the Carter Recycling facility where they are sent in batches to the grinder. To achieve ideal consistency and meet high-end landscaping requirements, the bark is ground twice.
