Crushed Brick

Demolition projects often generate tons of waste that have historically been hauled to a landfill. Oftentimes old brick makes up a portion of that waste. Instead of landfilling the brick, we accept it into our recycling facility to be crushed and processed to use as recycled filler for exterior construction and renovation projects. 

Where it comes from

Our crushed brick is a product of recycled brick from Upstate, SC demolition projects and home renovation waste. Upon entering the Carter Recycling facility, whole brick is crushed by our concrete crusher and sorted by our work team for quality control.

What it's used for

Crushed brick is an earth-friendly alternative to virgin stone or concrete. It is used most often for backfilling garages and retaining walls.
