3 inch Surge Stone

Recycled 2 to 3 inch surge stone from Carter Recycling is a high-quality recycled product that works well for construction entrances and to fill in wet areas. Our recycled surge stone originates from concrete scraps. Once the concrete scraps enter the Carter Recycling facility, they are sorted and crushed on-site and then screened to meet surge stone specifications. 

Where it comes from

Our surge stone comes from concrete scraps of demolition and renovation projects around the Upstate that would otherwise be unusable and sent to the landfill with other project waste.

What it's used for

Surge stone is best used to build construction entrances and as a primary filler and drying agent for wet areas.
